Group A of the online qualifiers for i54's G2A.com Counter-Strike Challenge, a £10,000 ($15,300) tournament, came to an end last night with x6tence topping the table on a perfect 3-0 record.
The Spanish team, who recently added Juan "meisoN" Carlos Chacón to their line-up, eased past Publiclir.se 16-6 before defeating volgare and Wizards by 16-12 and 16-10 scorelines, respectively. The second place in the group went to Simon "downie" Storm's side, who thrashed Wizards 16-4 and defeated volgare 16-13 to rack up six points.
meisoN's x6tence swept past their group opponents
Group B, featuring k1ck, OnlineBots, Playing Ducks and myXMG, will be played next week, on February 25.
The top two sides of the qualifier will book places in i54's CS:GO tournament and will get free accommodation and transport, in addition to a pass to the double-elimination stage of the championship.
