UCC and GG.Bet have announced that they have joined forces to host an online tournament for South American teams with $20,000 at stake.
GG.BET Ascensão will run from April 30 to May 14 and feature ten teams, nine invited and one determined by an open qualifier that will be held over this weekend.
The ten competing sides will be drawn into two round-robin groups, with all matches being played in a best-of-three format. The top two teams from both groups will advance to the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs, scheduled for May 13-14.
Não Tem Como, who have returned to Brazil to compete in the closed qualifier for ESL One Belo Horizonte, FURIA, Sharks and Isurus are among the first seven eight confirmed for the tournament, with the final invitee expected to be revealed shortly.
