AnJ, Basso to play for North Academy at Assembly Winter

Allan "AnJ" Jensen and Sebastian "Basso" Aagaard are part of the line-up submitted by North Academy for Assembly Winter.

The Danish team have been tipped to bring in two new players as Daniel "⁠mertz⁠" Mertz has been recruited by the organisation's main team, and Nicklas "⁠gade⁠" Gade is expected to follow suit owing to Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke reportedly needing to take a break for personal reasons.

Allan "⁠AnJ⁠" Jensen, 23, recently returned to Denmark from a six-month spell in North America with NRG, with whom he attended three DreamHack Open events and the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals. Prior to his stint overseas, he was notably part of the Singularity roster that won Copenhagen Games 2017 after beating Epsilon, BIG and dreamchasers.

Sebastian "⁠Basso⁠" Aagaard, 19, is mostly known for his time with the Reason Gaming squad that placed third in the Gfinity Elite Series Season 2. He was the team's top player in the league, averaging a 1.32 rating after finishing all maps with 1+ ratings.

North Academy have been drawn in Group B for Assembly Winter, along with ALTERNATE aTTaX, HAVU and FC Lahti Menace. A total of $15,000 will be on offer at the Finnish event, which will run from February 2-3.
